Designed by renowned ROM hacker Drayano, Renegade Platinum is a comprehensive overhaul of the original game. Every Pokémon from the first four generations is available to catch, including Mythicals and version exclusives, with revised encounter tables, evolution methods, and item distributions that remove the need for trading or events. The regional Pokédex has been reworked to support a true 'Gotta Catch 'Em All' journey.
The difficulty has been significantly increased without being unfair. Gym Leaders, rivals, and the Elite Four now field competitive-level teams with custom movesets, held items, and AI improvements.
