The game introduces a day/night cycle and a 'Solar Bank' where players can store solar energy for later use.
The world is larger, with towns, dungeons, and a job system that allows Django to take on quests. The combat now includes melee attacks with swords, solar magic, and the returning Gun Del Sol. Bosses are the Immortals, requiring strategic use of sunlight and the Pile Driver to seal them.
