About This Game
The DS version perfectly adapts the classic gameplay - plant sunflowers to generate resources, then strategically place peashooters, wall-nuts, cherry bombs and other plants across 5 lanes to stop the zombie horde. The dual-screen setup shows the battlefield on top and plant selection on the touch screen.
Exclusive to this version are DS-specific mini-games like 'Zombie Trapper' and 'Last Stand' that utilize the stylus. Also includes all content from the original: 50 levels of Adventure mode, 20 puzzle challenges, and endless Survival mode with day/night/fog variations.
With charming cartoon visuals and humorous zombie designs (including disco zombies and pole-vaulting zombies), this portable version became one of the highest-rated DS games, praised for its addictive gameplay and perfect touch controls.
